Brian was born in Lansing, Michigan in 1960 and first discovered radio while listening to Ernie Harwell call Tiger games and Bob Ufer do the play-by-play for Michigan football games..."I was hooked!" he says.
Brian did the morning announcements during his senior year in high school. He then graduated from Specs Howard Radio School in Detroit, which sent him off to Grayling, Gaylord, Tawas City, then here at MacDonald Broadcasting, where Brian has been employed off and on since 1989. "I even remember playing records, kids you can ask your folks what those were!" he jokes.
When not on the air Brian loves to spend time with my family, including many nieces and nephews. Enjoys watching college and pro football all day, and often have in the fall. Loves to hang with my close friends and you may even find him with a golf club in his hands in the warmer months on the weekends!
