Did you hear about the woman in Shelby County who won over $800,000 while eating pizza? KCQ Local Update! Sue Strong won $822,000 in the lottery because she decided to go on her lunch break and get some pizza. She bought some lottery tickets and won $800,000. She says she's paying off bills and sharing the money with her family.

 

Sounds like free maple syrup for everyone. Chippewa Nature Center in Midland has got Tap a Tree Day happening on Wednesday. Starts at 5.30. You get a guided tour, and they're going to point out the maple trees for you and let you tap them. Yep, that's free maple syrup for you.

 

Now that the former Lover's Lane has been demolished right around Tittabawassee and Bay, they're working on the new Raising Canes. Chicken favorites are coming to Saginaw. They're planning on opening later this year.

 

Electric work on Saginaw's water tower is almost done. They're disinfecting the water tower now and they're going to fill it with water here very soon.

 

Bay City's Delta College Planetarium is hosting a free lunar eclipse viewing tomorrow morning at 5 a.m. weather permitting you get to use the telescopes.
