Air travel across the United States is expected to surge this spring as airlines report strong booking numbers heading into spring break and early summer. Industry analysts say demand for flights is nearing pre-pandemic levels, with major airports like Hartsfield?Jackson Atlanta International Airport preparing for some of the busiest travel days of the year. 

 

State officials say applications are now open for several seasonal jobs with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Positions include park rangers, campground workers, and maintenance staff at state parks across Michigan. Officials say the hiring push comes as the state prepares for a busy summer tourism season at Michigan’s parks and recreation areas. 

 

Organizers in Bay City say this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set to draw thousands of spectators downtown. The event will feature colorful floats, marching bands, Irish dancers, and plenty of festive activities, celebrating the city’s Irish heritage and community spirit. 

Parade organizers say families are encouraged to come early to grab good spots along the route, and local restaurants and bars will be offering Irish-themed food and drink specials. Officials also remind everyone to stay safe while enjoying the festivities and the lively St. Patrick’s Day atmosphere.

Friday will be windy with a chance of rain or snow showers and a high near 40. 

Saturday stays mostly cloudy with a high around 39. 

Sunday looks messy with snow and ice changing to rain and a high near 43.
