Disney has a new top executive—Josh D’Amaro officially takes over as CEO, succeeding Bob Iger. And he’s already making waves with some exciting movie announcements.
First up, the live-action “Lilo & Stitch 2” is set to hit theaters on May 26th, 2028, just in time for Memorial Day Weekend. With the first movie raking in $1.03 billion worldwide, a sequel was practically guaranteed.
Fans of superheroes can also look forward to “Incredibles 3”, scheduled for June 16th, 2028—nearly exactly 10 years after “Incredibles 2” premiered in 2018.
