Good morning. In his prime time address to the nation, President Trump declared the month-long war in Iran is nearing completion. 

Trump says the U.S. had nearly accomplished all of America's military objectives, but he offered little clarity on how he planned to wind down the conflict over the next two to three weeks.  

 

The Artemis 2 space mission blasted off from Florida yesterday, sending four astronauts on a historic 10-day journey around the moon and marking the first time humans have traveled beyond low Earth orbit in more than 50 years.  

  

General Motors says it will invest over $150 million in its Saginaw metal casting operations to support production of the sixth generation of GM's V8 engine blocks. Used in full-size pickups, the plant's director says the investment not only secures existing jobs but also strengthens the local economy. Production starts in 2027.  

 

The 2026 fishing license year officially got underway this week, with several new regulations taking effect. The changes approved by the Natural Resources Commission remain in effect until March 31st of next year. Anglers are asked to review the 2026 Michigan fishing regulations before heading out. 

 In sports, the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Tigers 1-0 Wednesday to sweep that three-game series.
