President Trump is predicting a swift end of the war with Iran as Tehran considers a US peace proposal that sources say would formally end the conflict. The US Coast Guard recovered the bodies of three Gladwin County fishermen Wednesday, following reports of an overdue vessel in the Saginaw Bay. The Coast Guard identified the three men as Chris Whitmer, Ron Whitmer and Chris Whitmer Sr. The boat was reported to be two to three miles offshore between Gamble's Landing and Linwood. The three men had left Gamble's Landing to go fishing in an area near the Black Hole on Tuesday.
