U.S. and Iran Exchange Strikes
The United States has carried out a series of strikes on Iranian military and surveillance sites near the Strait of Hormuz. The action came in response to the downing of an American helicopter.
Iran says it responded by launching strikes on 21 targets at U.S. military bases in the region.
The good news is that the two crew members aboard the helicopter survived and have since been rescued.
