The agreement focuses on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, lifting the U.S. naval blockade, and providing financial incentives to Iran if certain benchmarks are met. Vance described the agreement as a broad framework, with many specifics still to be negotiated.

Meanwhile, oil prices have fallen to their lowest level in three months as investors wait for more details on the agreement.

Closer to home, Michigan drivers are paying a little more at the pump this week. According to AAA, gas prices are up two cents from last week, with regular unleaded averaging $4.19 per gallon statewide. That's down 70 cents from a month ago, but still $1.10 higher than this time last year.

In local news, Tittabawassee Township commissioners have approved an application from Jupiter Power Company to build a battery storage facility near Hackett and Tittabawassee Roads. The site would store electricity and send it back into the grid during periods of high demand. Developers say the project could generate millions of dollars in tax revenue over its lifetime.
