President Trump Says Ceasefire with Iran Has Ended

President Donald Trump says he believes the ceasefire and interim agreement aimed at ending the conflict with Iran has come to an end.

His comments follow Iran's attacks on U.S. military bases in the Persian Gulf, which were carried out in retaliation for a new wave of American airstrikes. The situation remains fluid as tensions continue to escalate.

Bay City Woman Charged After Loaded Gun Found at Fireworks Festival

A 19-year-old Bay City woman is facing multiple charges after police say she attempted to bring a loaded handgun into the Bay City Fireworks Festival Saturday night.

According to the Bay City Department of Public Safety, a security guard near Veterans Memorial Park witnessed the woman throw a backpack over a security fence. When the backpack was inspected, a loaded firearm was discovered inside.

She has been charged with one count of carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of assaulting, resisting, or obstructing police.

Cyclospora Cases Continue to Rise Across Michigan

Health officials say the number of Cyclospora infections reported across Michigan has climbed to approximately 700 cases.

Locally, six cases have been confirmed in Saginaw County and one in Midland County.

At this time, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has not identified a specific grower, supplier, or type of produce linked to the outbreak.

Because the source remains unknown, health officials recommend thoroughly washing all fresh fruits and vegetables under running water before eating them.

State Street Construction Continues in Saginaw

Drivers should expect delays as the intersection of State Street and Warwick Street in Saginaw is closed for storm sewer installation.

The work is part of a larger reconstruction project covering more than a mile of eastbound State Street between Avalon Avenue and Bay Street.

According to MDOT, the intersection is expected to reopen on July 10.
