We've got people arguing with strangers on the internet from their phones, but we still have almost no idea what's sitting at the bottom of the ocean.
For all we know, there's an underwater civilization down there wondering why we keep dropping sunglasses, fishing lures, and cruise ship buffets into their neighborhood.
