Trump’s Name to Be Added to Kennedy Center
The board of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has voted to inscribe President Donald Trump’s name on the building beneath its main signage, according to two people familiar with the proceedings. The move comes amid an ongoing legal dispute and could test a federal judge’s order involving the Kennedy Center.
Michigan Cyclosporiasis Outbreak Nears 14,000 Cases
Michigan’s statewide cyclosporiasis outbreak continues to grow, with the number of reported cases now approaching 14,000.
The increase comes about a week after health officials said residents could return to normal guidance when eating lettuce and salad greens. Michigan typically sees only about 50 cases of cyclosporiasis in an entire year.
Cyclosporiasis is an intestinal illness caused by the microscopic parasite Cyclospora.
Raising Cane’s Coming to Saginaw
Chicken finger fans have a new restaurant to look forward to in Saginaw.
Raising Cane’s is scheduled to make its Great Lakes Bay Region debut when its new Bay Road location opens September 8.
The restaurant is also hiring ahead of the grand opening.
Dow Championship Moving to Fall in 2027
For the first time in tournament history, the Dow Championship will be played in the fall.
The LPGA has announced its 2027 tour schedule, with the Dow Championship at Midland Country Club scheduled for September 27 through October 3.
