We’ve officially reached the point where even your robot vacuum can snitch on you.

A man in Taiwan reportedly discovered his wife was cheating after he remotely activated their robot vacuum and used its built-in camera.

Instead of finding dust, dog hair and that one mysterious Cheerio that somehow survives every cleaning cycle, he found his wife with another man.

The camera reportedly captured the two embracing, with the other man sitting on the sofa while the woman walked around the home unclothed.

And the husband didn't just hit the “return to charging station” button.

He sued both of them.

In Taiwan, spouses can sue for adultery, and the husband won. The two were ordered to pay him roughly $15,000 U.S.

But then the story took another turn.

His wife counter-sued, claiming she had been filmed without her permission.

And she won THAT case.

The husband was ordered to pay his wife nearly $5,000 and was sentenced to five months in jail.

So, if the math works the way it's being reported, he could still come out roughly $10,000 ahead...

...after spending five months behind bars.

All because he wanted the floors cleaned.

The lesson here?

Maybe don't buy a robot vacuum with a camera.

Or at least don't give the robot vacuum a front-row seat to your marriage.

Because apparently, today's robot vacuums don't just clean your house.

They collect evidence.
