If you’ve ever handed a kid a Capri-Sun, you already know the drill: sip, sip, sip… gone. Somehow that little pouch disappears faster than a Michigan summer.
Well, Capri-Sun apparently decided we’ve had enough of the tiny pouches.
They’re testing something called the “Big Pouch.” It stands about 9 inches tall, is 6 inches wide and holds a whopping 20 ounces. That’s more than three times the size of the original.
It even comes with a bigger straw.
And here’s the catch: it comes EMPTY. Yep. You’re basically buying a Capri-Sun water bottle with a coupon for Capri-Sun.
They recommend grabbing a 64-ounce jug so you can refill it multiple times.
For now, the Big Pouch is a limited-time promotion, available through daily drops at Walmart.com Monday through Thursday next week. They’re going for about $6 each, although nobody seems to know exactly how much the included flavor coupon will be worth.
If it takes off, Capri-Sun says it could become a permanent product.
Honestly, this feels like something Michigan parents have been training for their entire lives.
Twenty ounces of Capri-Sun?
That’s not a juice pouch anymore.
That’s a Flint-to-Detroit road trip beverage. ????
Just don't hand one to your kid before a four-hour drive unless you're prepared to hear, “I GOTTA GO!” approximately 11 minutes later.
