Michigan, Your Sexy TSA Agent Costume Has Been Grounded

If you're planning to dress up for Halloween this year, you might want to start figuring out your costume NOW.

Because apparently, some Halloween costumes have officially worn out their welcome.

According to a new survey, the most overdone Halloween costume is... the "sexy version" of basically anything.

About 29% of people said they're ready to retire the whole sexy-costume routine.

So, ladies and gentlemen of Michigan, this may be the year to finally retire Sexy Nurse, Sexy Cop, Sexy Cat... and yes, apparently even Sexy TSA Agent.

Not because you're too old.

Not because TSA agents are a protected species.

Apparently, we've just seen enough.

Coming in second on the list of most overdone costumes? Pirates, with 25% of the vote.

So if your Halloween plan involved an eye patch, a plastic sword and yelling "ARRR!" at the bartender, you might want to rethink things.

And Jokers are also apparently on the way out, with 22% saying that costume has officially had its run.

Other costumes getting the boot include cowboys and cowgirls, Harley Quinn, hippies, Minions, mimes and Where's Waldo.

Which raises an important Michigan question:

If you dress up as Where's Waldo, can you just stand in the middle of an IKEA in Canton and call it a day?

And let's be honest, Michigan already has plenty of Halloween costumes available without spending a dime.

You could dress as a Michigan road construction barrel.

Just stand in the middle of the driveway and prevent everyone from getting where they're going.

Or go as a Michigan pothole.

No costume required. Just find a road after the first freeze.

Want to get really ambitious?

Dress as a Michigan winter driver: hoodie, coffee, sunglasses, one hand on the wheel and absolutely no intention of scraping all the ice off the windshield.

And if you're going to a Halloween party in Frankenmuth, just dress as someone who knows how to pronounce "Frankenmuth" correctly.

The survey also found that adults are getting less interested in dressing up altogether. Only 24% say they plan to wear a costume this year.

Which seems like a shame because 68% of Americans still say you're never too old to dress up for Halloween.

So whether you're going as a pirate, a cowboy, a Minion, a pothole or just yourself after spending six hours in I-75 construction traffic...

Halloween is still Halloween.

Just maybe leave the Sexy TSA Agent at the airport.
