Are you becoming your pet?

10 Ways You’re Basically Turning Into Your Pet ????
At this point, it’s less “owner” and more… “roommate with similar habits.”

Spend enough time with your pet and something magical happens. You start to sync. Not just emotionally… but behaviorally. One day you’re tossing a ball, the next day you’re guarding snacks like a raccoon with trust issues.

Here are 10 hilarious ways you might be becoming your pet:

1. Your Sleep Schedule Is… Flexible

If your pet naps at random times, guess what? So do you now. Midday nap? Absolutely. Early bedtime? Why not. You’ve entered your cozy era.

2. You Get Excited About Food

Dinner used to be “meh.” Now? It’s the main event. You hear a wrapper crinkle from three rooms away like it’s a dinner bell from destiny.

3. You Have Favorite Spots

That one chair. That corner of the couch. That exact spot on the bed. You’ve claimed it. Everyone else? Good luck negotiating.

4. You Greet People Like It’s a Big Deal

Someone walks in the door and suddenly you’re all energy. Maybe not full tail-wag mode… but close. Bonus points if snacks are involved.

5. You Judge Strangers Immediately

Your pet sizes people up in seconds… and somehow, so do you now. “Good vibes” or “absolutely not” with zero explanation.

6. You Love Your Routine

Same walk time. Same feeding time. Same bedtime ritual. You used to be spontaneous. Now you’re a creature of habit with a calendar in your soul.

7. You Make Weird Noises

Talking to your pet has unlocked a whole new language. High-pitched greetings, random nicknames, and sounds that would confuse anyone else.

8. You Enjoy the Simple Things

A sunny window. A comfy blanket. A snack at the right moment. Life has become less complicated… and honestly, better.

9. You Protect Your Space

Someone sits in your spot? Immediate internal chaos. You may not hiss or bark… but spiritually, you absolutely do.

10. You’re Loyal to Your People

At the end of the day, nothing beats your inner circle. Whether it’s family, friends, or your pet themselves… you stick close to your pack.

Final Thought

Maybe becoming more like your pet isn’t a bad thing. They’ve got life figured out: eat well, nap often, love hard, and don’t overthink it.

Honestly… they might be the real life coaches. ????????

The Ultimate Easter Candy Power RankingĀ

The Ultimate Easter Candy Power Ranking
Because your basket deserves only the elite sugar squad.

Easter is basically Halloween in pastel mode… but with a stricter dress code and way more marshmallow diplomacy. Whether you're a chocolate strategist or a jellybean gambler, here’s a deliciously opinionated countdown of the Top 10 Easter candies worth hoarding like a squirrel in springtime.

10. Robin Eggs

Crunchy shell, chocolate center, and just enough “bird theme” to make you feel seasonal. They’re like the indie film of Easter candy… not everyone’s favorite, but respected.

9. Starburst Jellybeans

These are jellybeans that went to finishing school. Bold flavors, no weird “mystery spice” surprises. Every bite feels like it passed a background check.

8. Chocolate Bunnies (Hollow)

Classic, iconic, slightly disappointing after the first bite. It’s 90% air, 10% nostalgia… and somehow still earns a spot.

7. Cadbury Mini Eggs

Crunchy shell, creamy chocolate core… basically the MVP of texture. These don’t sit in your candy dish. They vanish.

6. Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs

Not to be dramatic, but these are superior to regular peanut butter cups. The peanut butter-to-chocolate ratio? Practically a scientific breakthrough.

5. Peeps

Ah yes… the great divide. You either love them or think they taste like sugary couch cushions. But culturally? Untouchable. Peeps are the Easter drama we all need.

4. Whoppers Robin Eggs

Malt ball magic in disguise. They bring that crunchy, airy, chocolatey chaos that makes you keep grabbing “just one more”… 14 times.

3. Lindt Chocolate Carrots

Fancy Easter energy. Smooth, rich, and dressed like a vegetable to trick you into feeling responsible. Elegant deception at its finest.

2. Jelly Belly Jellybeans

The gourmet jellybean experience. Flavors range from delightful to “who approved this?” but that’s half the adventure.

1. Cadbury Creme Eggs

The undisputed champion. Gooey center, rich chocolate shell, and just chaotic enough to feel like dessert roulette. Messy? Yes. Worth it? Also yes.

Final Thoughts

Your Easter basket is a battlefield… and only the strongest candies survive. Whether you're team chocolate, team marshmallow, or just here for the sugar rush, one thing’s certain:

Calories don’t count when the bunny is involved.

MLB Ballparks Gone Wild: 6 Outrageous Snacks You Have to See to Believe

Baseball season has officially swung back into action, which means one thing: it’s time to indulge in some of the wackiest, most over-the-top ballpark eats in the country. Forget peanuts and cracker jacks—these MLB stadium snacks are taking flavor (and your stomach) to the extreme.

Here’s a lineup of this year’s most outrageous ballpark creations:

  1. The Machete – Miami Marlins & Chicago White Sox
This monster carne asada quesadilla stretches two feet long. And unlike some of these other creations, this one actually looks like a legitimately satisfying meal.
  2. The Glizzilla – Colorado Rockies
A two-foot-long hotdog loaded with your favorite toppings. Too gigantic to tackle solo? No problem—they suggest sharing. Bonus points if you channel your inner Lady and the Tramp.
  3. Brisket Doughnuts – Houston Astros
Imagine tender brisket tucked inside a doughnut, smothered in BBQ sauce, and crowned with mac and cheese. It’s basically a full meal disguised as dessert.
  4. S’mores Quesadilla – Kansas City Royals
A dessert-sized quesadilla filled with Nutella, marshmallow fluff, and graham cracker crumbs, then finished with strawberry pico de gallo. It’s dessert, dinner, and daredevil snack all in one bite.
  5. The Take Me Out to the Ballgame Shake – Arizona Diamondbacks
This milkshake is stuffed with whipped cream, peanut butter sandwich cookies, and a generous helping of Cracker Jacks. It probably deserves a new nickname: The Stomachquake.
  6. The Schwarbomb Sundae – Philadelphia Phillies
A mini-helmet filled with ice cream, topped with a funnel-cake-fried Uncrustable, strawberry sauce, and fruity cereal. One has to wonder if Kyle Schwarber actually digs this chaos on a plate.

Ballparks are no longer just for baseball—they’re arenas of culinary audacity. If your diet survives the season, consider yourself a true MVP of snacking.

Cassettes Are Cool Again?

Cassettes Are Cool Again: Retro Music Gets a Modern Makeover

Just when you thought vinyl had reclaimed its throne, another retro trend is spinning back into the spotlight—cassettes. Yes, those little tape-filled rectangles that once ruled your Walkman are officially having a comeback.

Maxell Brings Back the Classic

Electronics brand Maxell is embracing the nostalgia, reintroducing its classic personal cassette player—but with a modern twist. The new model comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, USB-C charging, and—thankfully—they didn’t ditch the headphone jack.

Old-School Vibes, Modern Perks

The player delivers roughly 11 hours of Bluetooth playback, so you can jam to your favorite tapes without constantly hunting for an outlet. And for that authentic retro feel, it even includes a belt clip—perfect for strolling around like it’s 1995.

Price and Mixtape Essentials

Going retro isn’t exactly cheap. Maxell’s suggested price is $100, though Amazon shoppers can snag one for around $80. Want to make your own mixtapes? A five-pack of blank cassettes will set you back roughly $15, giving you plenty of opportunity to relive those painstakingly crafted playlists from yesteryear.

Cassettes may be back, but they’re smarter, sleeker, and ready to coexist with your modern tech. So dust off those old tapes—or start fresh—and enjoy the sound of nostalgia with a modern twist.

"Michigan Goes Quackers: Wood Duck Takes the Crown"

Michigan Welcomes Its First Official Duck: The Wood Duck

Michigan is about to get a feathery new state symbol. Lawmakers in the state legislature have been championing the idea of naming the wood duck as Michigan’s official duck, and the effort has now cleared both chambers.

The journey began in June 2025, when the Michigan House breezed the historic measure through its chamber. On Wednesday, the Michigan Senate followed suit, giving a decisive 30-4 vote in favor of the colorful bird, officially crowning the wood duck as the state’s very first duck emblem.

Why the Wood Duck?

The wood duck isn’t just any bird in the pond. The male wood duck is instantly recognizable thanks to its vivid green head feathers and striking red eyes—a natural showstopper designed to attract a mate.

The female, meanwhile, sports a subtler palette. Her soft, muted tones provide camouflage while she tends to her ducklings, proving that in nature, beauty and practicality can go wing in wing.

Michigan now joins the ranks of states celebrating their wildlife with official symbols, and the wood duck’s designation highlights the state’s rich natural heritage and its vibrant wetlands. Keep an eye out—these dazzling birds might just be the next thing you spot on a Michigan morning walk.

Love, But Make It Budget-Friendly: The Rise of the "Engagement-Moon"

For generations, the engagement ring has been the sparkling centerpiece of a proposal. Big diamond, big moment, big price tag. But lately, more couples are flipping the script—and the trend is turning heads.

Instead of dropping thousands on a ring, some are choosing to invest in something a little less shiny but a lot more memorable: a vacation together. Call it an “engagement-moon.”

According to a recent report, 65% of Americans feel engagement rings have shifted from a meaningful symbol of love to more of a financial burden. And when you look at the numbers, it’s not hard to see why. The average expected cost of a ring sits around $10,600—and for many, that’s actually below the long-standing “three months’ salary” rule.

With the average income hovering around $62,100, that traditional guideline would push ring budgets closer to $15,500. That’s a serious investment—one that more couples are starting to question.

In fact, about 26% of Gen Z say they’d rather skip the expensive ring altogether and use that money to travel and create shared experiences. Because let’s be honest: sunsets in another country tend to outshine a jewelry box.

Others are getting even more creative. Roughly 25% of those ditching traditional rings are opting for matching tattoos—even tattooed “rings.” Meanwhile, non-traditional bands made from materials like silicone, wood, or titanium are becoming increasingly popular for couples who want something unique without the hefty price tag.

Interestingly, the pressure to go big doesn’t seem to be coming from loved ones. About half of younger Americans say the expectation for an expensive ring is driven more by social media and societal influence than by their partner or family.

So what’s more valuable—a diamond that lasts forever, or memories that do? More couples are deciding they’d rather start their journey together with an adventure instead of a bill. And in this new era of love, meaning might just matter more than the sparkle.

Why the "Scandinavian Sleep Method" Could Save Your Nights

Ever wake up freezing while your partner is roasting under the covers? Or get jolted awake when someone rolls over and steals the blanket? That struggle might be solved by something called the Scandinavian Sleep Method—and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like: two people, one bed, two blankets.

Popular in countries like Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, this simple approach keeps each sleeper in control of their own comfort. No more midnight tug-of-war or temperature battles. Sleep experts say that blanket movement is one of the top reasons people wake up during the night, so giving each person their own blanket can mean fewer disruptions, better rest, and improved moods.

Some might call it less romantic, but many couples report that sleeping better leads to happier mornings, fewer arguments, and a calmer bedtime routine overall. It’s a small change with surprisingly big benefits—proof that sometimes, two blankets really are better than one.

Jessica K from Midland Wins Chris Stapleton & Lainey Wilson Tickets

Exciting news for country music fans in Michigan! Jessica K from Midland is headed to Ford Field on August 8th to see two of the hottest acts in country music today: Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson.

Jessica’s journey to this concert isn’t your typical “enter and win” story. She participated in the KCQ 5 Minute Music Survey, a quick and fun way for fans to share their music preferences—and it paid off big time. Her name was drawn as the lucky winner, earning her a pair of tickets to one of the biggest country shows of the year.

This isn’t Jessica’s first brush with country music luck. In fact, she actually won tickets to a similar concert four years ago but, due to unforeseen circumstances, she couldn’t attend and had to give the tickets away. So, you could say this victory has been a long time coming—and the excitement is even sweeter knowing she finally gets to experience the show in person.

The lineup promises an unforgettable night. Chris Stapleton, known for his powerhouse vocals and soulful songwriting, will share the stage with Lainey Wilson, a rising star whose energy and charisma have captured fans nationwide. Together, they’re bringing a mix of chart-topping hits, emotional ballads, and high-energy performances that will make Ford Field buzz with excitement.

For Jessica—and fans across Michigan—this concert is more than just a night out. It’s a chance to see some of the biggest names in country music, celebrate the joy of live music, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Congratulations again to Jessica K from Midland! We hope August 8th is a night full of music, laughter, and plenty of country magic. And for everyone else, don’t forget—the next time you take the KCQ 5 Minute Music Survey, you might just be the next lucky winner.

MLB Season: How Much Will a Family of Four Spend?

Baseball is back! The Major League Baseball season officially kicks off tonight, and if you’re thinking about taking the family to a game this spring, you might want to think twice—or maybe just check out a local high school matchup.

A recent report breaks down the average cost of attending an MLB game for a family of four in 2026: $225.90. And that’s just the basics—four tickets (cheapest available), one parking pass, two 16-ounce beers, two 20-ounce sodas, and four hot dogs. That’s right: no peanuts, no cotton candy, no team shop souvenirs.

Not surprisingly, the Los Angeles Dodgers top the list as the priciest, coming in at $413. Other heavy hitters include:

  • Boston Red Sox – $373
  • Oakland Athletics (now in Sacramento) – $324
  • Chicago Cubs – $314

It’s hard to believe, but the sweet season of Girl Scout cookies is coming to an end. And while it may surprise some, not every box finds a home by the time sales wrap up. So what becomes of the leftovers?

In many cases, unsold boxes are moved between troops to keep selling a little longer. But the bigger focus is on giving back. Girl Scouts are encouraged to donate extra cookies to local food pantries and charities, spreading the joy to those who might not otherwise get a treat.

And for any remaining boxes after all that? Well, the troops get to indulge in a well-deserved cookie feast themselves.

It’s a reminder that even the end of cookie season can be sweet in more ways than one.

Adults Can't Resist Easter Candy Either

Halloween isn’t the only holiday that brings out the kid in us. While everyone knows adults sneak a handful of candy in October, it turns out Easter is just as tempting.

A recent survey reveals that 66% of American adults feel they deserve an Easter basket as much as kids do. And it gets sneakier—36% admit to secretly nibbling their children’s candy stash.

The specifics aren’t clear, but let’s be honest—picking a few jellybeans or a Reese’s egg is much easier to get away with than swiping an entire chocolate bunny. Those disappearances? Way too noticeable.

So this Easter, don’t be surprised if adults are quietly hunting for hidden candy alongside the kids—they’re just embracing their sweet-tooth nostalgia.

"The Toy That Roared... and the One That Flopped"

Back in the early 1900s, a toy craze was born thanks to President Teddy Roosevelt—and it was downright cuddly. The now-iconic teddy bear took off like wildfire, becoming a must-have for kids across the country.

Seeing that success, a toy company figured lightning could strike twice. When William Howard Taft took office, they rolled out a brand-new presidential plush: the “Billy Possum.”

There was just one problem… kids didn’t exactly dream of hugging a possum.

While teddy bears became timeless childhood companions, Billy Possum quietly scampered off into obscurity. Turns out, not every presidential nickname is destined for the toy aisle.

Why 'Speed Friending' Is Booming in a Friendship Recession"

Ever clicked with someone in five minutes and thought, “Yeah… we could definitely be friends”? That little spark is turning into a full-blown social trend.

It’s called speed friending, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. Imagine speed dating, but instead of searching for romance, you’re just looking for your next brunch buddy, gym partner, or “let’s grab a drink and vent about life” kind of person.

These events are popping up in cozy, neutral spots like coffee shops and community spaces. Usually, a couple dozen people show up, and an organizer keeps things moving so nobody awkwardly clings to the snack table. You rotate around the room, chatting one-on-one with different people for a few minutes at a time. No pressure, no expectations—just vibes and conversation.

And it’s not just for one type of person either. While Millennials seem to be leading the charge, you’ll find a mix of ages all looking for the same thing: connection.

So why now?

Some experts say we’re in the middle of a “friendship recession.” Back in 1990, only about 3% of Americans said they had no friends. Today, that number has jumped somewhere between 12% and 20%. That’s a pretty big shift—and it helps explain why people are getting more intentional about meeting others.

Speed friending is kind of like social matchmaking for real life. No algorithms, no endless scrolling—just actual humans, face-to-face, seeing if there’s a spark.

Because sometimes, all it really takes is five minutes to realize… you might’ve just met your next favorite person.

KCQ news with John Conrad. Good morning. Major stock markets in Asia have slumped after Washington and Tehran threatened to escalate hostilities as the US-Israel war with Iran enters its fourth week.

President Trump warned he would obliterate Iranian power plants if Iran did not open the key Strait of Hormuz shipping route. Iran said it would respond to any such strikes by targeting key infrastructure in the region. President Trump said Sunday he will send ICE agents to US airports starting today to assist TSA officers who've been working without pay for more than five weeks during the partial homeland security shutdown.

The Trump administration has not said which airports and how many agents or exactly what roles they would fill. I-75 lane and shoulder closures begin today in South Saginaw County. The Department of Transportation is continuing its work on a $10.1 million project to improve five bridges on I-75 between Maple Road and Riverview Drive in Saginaw County.

Drivers can expect lane closures and shoulder closures. In sports, the number four seed Oklahoma women beat fifth seed Michigan State women 77-71 last night in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Michigan women defeated North Carolina State 92-63.

They advanced into women's sweet 16. The Wolverines will play the winner of today's third seeded Louisville versus sixth seeded Alabama game.

Can Online Dating Be Any Worse?

Online dating has never been simple—but now, artificial intelligence is adding a whole new layer of complexity.

Tinder is testing a feature called “Camera Roll Scan,” and it’s already raising eyebrows. The tool asks users to grant access to their entire photo library. From there, AI reviews your images and creates what it calls “Photo Insights”—a breakdown of your personality, interests, and lifestyle based on what it sees.

It doesn’t stop there. The feature also recommends which photos might perform best on your profile, essentially turning the algorithm into a built-in dating advisor.

While that might sound helpful on the surface, not everyone is convinced. Letting an app sift through thousands of personal photos—even temporarily—feels like a big ask. For many, it raises concerns about privacy and how much access is too much, especially when those libraries can include years’ worth of personal moments.

To address those worries, Tinder says it takes privacy seriously. According to the company, only a limited number of images are uploaded for analysis, and they’re deleted shortly after.

Still, the feature highlights a growing tension in modern dating: how much we’re willing to trade personal data for convenience. As AI becomes more involved in how people connect, users are left to decide where they draw the line.

First Day of Spring! Is that a good thing?

Winter is officially in the rearview mirror—today marks the first day of spring, and there’s a lot more to celebrate than just warmer weather. This seasonal shift can actually give your health and mindset a meaningful boost. Here’s why stepping into spring is such a win:

1. Longer, brighter days
With the clocks already moved forward, evenings feel lighter and more energizing. And as the days continue to stretch toward the summer solstice, that extra sunlight can lift your mood and even help reduce feelings of seasonal blues.

2. A natural sleep upgrade

More daylight during waking hours can help regulate your body’s internal clock. The result? Better sleep at night and more energy to get through your day.

3. Fresh food is back in season
Spring brings a wave of vibrant fruits and vegetables. It’s a great time to refresh your meals with lighter, healthier options packed with nutrients.

4. More reasons to get outside
Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, picking up a new outdoor hobby, or just soaking up some sunshine, being active outside supports both physical and mental health.

5. A chance to reset your space
Spring cleaning isn’t just about tidying up—it can clear your mind, too. Organizing your home can reduce stress, improve focus, and create a calmer, more enjoyable environment.

Spring isn’t just a change in season—it’s an opportunity to reset, recharge, and feel a little better all around.

Luke Combs says being rejected by The Voice actually gave him confidence. You might remember that they told him (0:24) that he wasn't very interesting, not that he was a bad singer. Luke's new album drops today.

"I mean, to be quite frank with you, it's like this album's just fastballs. You know, like to just kind of be like, I still got it. "

Some Simple Ways to Save at the Pump

Gas prices are climbing again, and while there’s no shortage of advice out there, some of it isn’t exactly practical. Sure, buying a hybrid sounds great—but not everyone has that kind of cash sitting around.

The good news? There are still a few easy ways to stretch your fuel and keep a little more money in your pocket.

Here are some simple tips to help you save on gas:

  • Slow it down: Driving over 65 mph can burn fuel faster. Staying at a steady, moderate speed helps improve efficiency.

  • Use cruise control: Keeping a consistent speed on the highway can reduce unnecessary fuel use.

  • Coast when you can: If you see a red light ahead, ease off the gas early instead of speeding up and braking hard.

  • Check your tires: Proper tire pressure can make a big difference. Underinflated tires force your car to use more gas.

  • Cut down on drag: Removing roof racks or bike racks when you’re not using them can improve your car’s aerodynamics.

  • Carpool if possible: Sharing rides is an easy way to split fuel costs and drive less.

At the end of the day, every little bit helps when it comes to saving at the pump. And if all else fails… there’s always the dream plan: win the lottery and never worry about gas prices again.....Maybe.

Disney Names New CEO and Announces Big Movie Releases

First up, the live-action “Lilo & Stitch 2” is set to hit theaters on May 26th, 2028, just in time for Memorial Day Weekend. With the first movie raking in $1.03 billion worldwide, a sequel was practically guaranteed.

As of now, Josh hasn’t shared any plot details for either film, but Disney enthusiasts are already marking their calendars for these blockbuster releases

Move Over Salads—Crispy Pasta Is Taking Over TikTok

Just when it seemed like every possible food had been tossed into an air fryer, a new trend is making waves online—crispy pasta salad.

It might sound a little unusual at first, especially if you’re picky about texture, but fans of the trend say it’s surprisingly delicious and worth trying. The idea is simple: turn soft pasta into a crunchy, flavorful base for your favorite salad ingredients.

To make it, start by boiling your pasta until it’s just shy of fully cooked—about a minute less than the package directions. After draining, coat the noodles lightly with olive oil, salt, and pepper. From there, you can get creative by adding seasonings like garlic, paprika, oregano, or even a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

Next comes the magic. Toss the seasoned pasta into the air fryer and cook until it becomes golden and crispy. Cooking times may vary, but some recommend around 8 minutes at 385 degrees to get that perfect crunch.

The result? A bold twist on traditional pasta salad with a crispy bite that’s turning heads across social media. It may not be what you expect—but it just might become your new favorite way to enjoy pasta.

Want a Giant Chocolate Easter Bunny?

Chocolate lovers, get ready—Costco is taking Easter treats to a whole new level!

The retailer is offering a Giant 10-pound chocolate bunny named Pete, and it’s definitely not your average chocolate bar. To tackle this massive confection, Costco recommends using a mallet, hammer, or rolling pin—and if that’s not enough, a hot knife might be needed to cut through the chocolate.

Pete comes with a price tag of $112.97, but at that size, it’s less of a treat and more of a chocolate construction project complete with sprinkles. Perfect for anyone who wants a sweet challenge this holiday season! Bunny pictured, not the actual bunny for sale.

"Unpredictable": Justin Moore on Raising Daughters + Carrie's Regret

So, how would you describe raising daughters in just one word?

It's KCQ Nashville News.

KCQ artist Justin Moore says the word is "unpredictable." Justin says he doesn't think he's missing out on anything by not having a boy, his girls are awesome.

What's Carrie Underwood's number one regret about her time on the show American Idol, not as a judge, but as a contestant. She said back then, she didn't take any pictures. Speaking of Carrie Underwood, by the way, she recently adopted two lambs. She named them Maggie and Murray.

What's going on with Reba and Rex Lynn? Allegedly, they are not in a good place, insiders are reporting that they've been feuding a little bit lately because they keep delaying their wedding plans and it's causing stress on the relationship.

How do you know Meghan Moroni is blowing up? I advertised it as like a three song and two sick performance, so I met in nine days, like, over $15,000 in. Three songs, 15,000 fans, that's amazing.

Is Kacey Musgraves' New Album Cover A.I.?

Rumors have been circulating online that the cover art for Deeper Well by Kacey Musgraves was created using artificial intelligence. But Musgraves is setting the record straight, saying the image is completely real.

According to Musgraves, the bull featured on the album cover was brought in by a friend who owns a ranch. The team reportedly drove around Dallas looking for the right spot to take the photo.

Musgraves says they would quickly hop out of the vehicle, place cones in the road to briefly stop traffic, and snap photos with the bull. She also admitted the shoot was done without permits, adding to the spontaneous nature of the moment.

Despite online speculation, Musgraves insists the unique cover image is the result of a real-life photo shoot, not A.I. generated artwork.

What did a fan throw at Riley Green?

Why is it hard for hot guys out there in country music? And if not for this artist, maybe Luke Combs doesn't hit. It's KCQ's Nashville News. Here's Luke Combs

The guy who really breaks the mold is Chris Stapleton. Incredible singer, incredible writer. When he did that performance with Timberlake at the CMAs, it was like, it was this groundbreaking moment of like, because like, if it ain't that good, it ain't gonna work. Yeah, that's gonna be an issue for hot dudes everywhere. That guy is crushing right now. And so really, if the Stapleton moment happen, I don't know that my stuff happens, shakes out in the same way.

Hilarious. Here's Jordan Davis on a twist for his latest hit.Turn This Truck Around. I was able to kind of get into my, my, my Southern rock feels. Probably my favorite song off this album. We haven't done anything like this, and I feel like you are going to hear that.

Did you see the photo of Riley Green bleeding from the ear? He was performing in Australia when somebody in the crowd threw a phone at him and hit him in the head. That guy got tossed from the concert.

Want to Vacation in Europe Eating Ranch Dressing?

Would you like to travel Europe for free, but you have to mostly eat ranch dressing? It's KCQ Food News, and I guess technically this could be job news as well. We'll get to that story here in just a second.

But did you hear our friends at Pizza Hut would like you to taste test their new crust? They've got a new hand-tossed crust, and as a summer job, they're willing to pay you about $32,000, and you get free pizza for a year You can apply for the job on their Pizza Hut crust website. I don't know, that sounds pretty good. It's a lot of carbs.

Our friends at Wendy's are trying to hire a chief tasting officer as they are exploring new menu options. Now, this one pays real well. It doesn't say how long the job is for, but you get $100,000.

Okay, and speaking of cash, our friends at Hidden Valley Ranch are not disclosing what the pay is just yet, but they are looking for what they're calling a ranch ambassador. Lovely play on words. You will actually travel to England, Ireland, Iceland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, and Greece.

Now, here's the thing. You have to go to those countries and investigate local Eateries, choose certain foods that you think would be appropriate to go with Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. Yeah, you get to carry the bottles with you into the restaurant and hope that they don't beat you up, scream at you in a different language, and then throw you out.

They say it's a summer job, and then once you eat food in Italy with ranch dressing on it, you have to shoot a video, take some pictures, do the social media thing, and they will pay you for that job. They're just not saying how much just yet. Would you like to be a ranch dressing ambassador for the summer? No, I'd do it.

And then, no, I did not get a car.

Would you check out a reality show if Thomas Rhetts and Lauren were the stars?

We give enough of ourselves, I think, on social media and we pretty much open our home and our marriage to our fans in a way, but I think a reality show might be too much, but I don't think I want to be like an actor-actor, but I think it would be pretty fun to be in a few scenes in a big movie or something like that.

Did you ever wonder what inspired Morgan Wallen's original mullet? He said in a recent interview it was looking at wedding pictures of his parents. He said when it got to his label, everyone said, no, we're not doing a mullet, and he said, give it a chance.

What is SEAT Divorce?

Have you heard of Seat Divorce?

It's when you and your partner fly together, but don't sit together. This way, no one has to have a middle seat!  It's apparently common!

Most couples automatically just book two seats next to each other.  One person has to suck it up and take the middle seat.   You can get an isle seat in the same row and sit across from each other!

If you sleep, read, or watch TV anyway, why not? If you're bringing the kids, it might be a little harder.

Sitting next to each other is a psychological instinct.  It says the relationship is good.  But CHOOSING to sit seperately still means you're good and maybe you get your favorite spot!

How Do You Know You Made It?

KCQ Listeners answer the question, "How Do You Know You Made it?"

What are the signs that Michiganders have 'made it' as a millennial?"

1.  "Finally upgrading from a full-size bed to a new king bed."

2.  "Being able to put your bills on auto-pay . . . that's a good threshold."

3.  "Not having to panic when you have a $500 or $1,000 emergency.  It's a bummer, rather than a major anxiety."

4.  "Having a 'drink fridge' in the garage."

5.  "Paying off your student loans or buying a house."

6.  "Paying a service to trim a large tree, instead of doing it yourself.  'Making it' to me is being able to pick my battles."

7.  "BUYING a new couch . . . rather than getting a random hand-me-down."

8.  "Having plastic hangers that are all the same color."

9.  "Seeing your credit score surpassing the 800 mark."

12.  "Having the money for a nice tattoo every now and then."

13.  "Switching out your two-week contacts after only two weeks."

14.  "Hiring movers instead of asking friends."

15.  "Not living with a roommate."

As it turns out, you know, these things are on the traffic lights and they will catch, you know, license plates in the back picture of vehicles. He did not like that at all. He decided to smash many of the cameras except that he was on camera while he was doing it.

Did you hear about this guy overseas? He's an Uber driver and he got into a fight with his passenger. Why? Because the passenger kept burping. He burped repeatedly. The driver said it was gross. The driver has a sign on the back seat that says, please no burping. And they believe that the person in the back seat, the passenger was doing it intentionally because the sign was there and so he kind of caused his own problem, I guess.

So listen, you do not want to get between a woman and her engagement ring. A woman in Delaware actually had her engagement ring stolen out of her car while the car was being washed. What did she do? And a couple of days later, a guy walked in trying to sell the ring and he got busted immediately.

People are surprised that Cody Johnson still writes songs by hand.

I've tried to write songs on a computer and type and it's like it's just so frustrating. I wind up with a pen and a paper and you know I like being able to erase and scratch out and then later look back at the page and you can see how the song was written. You know it's just too nice and neat on the computer for me.  I like to look back and see that product of you know where we scribbled out lines and then rewrote lines and then wound up back at the same line. It's pretty cool and I think that I like having something tangible to hold on to. I've got all my old songs that I've written down all in my safe so hopefully someday somebody will look at that and think it's really cool.

Shaboozie says he's a hugger.
